Where to begin... The Earth cooled. Dinosaurs came and went. Time passes. Pyramids were built. Time passes. The camera was invented followed shortly thereafter by the first photobombing. Time passes.
I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana several years ago to two wonderful parents. Since then I have lived in several cities and states. Most of my early life was lived in Texas. When I was 8, my life took an incredible change when my sister came into the world. Love ya Sis! High school was one of the best times of my life. First, because it was a great school.
Second, I got to indulge in another passion of mine: cooking. I hosted and produced a cooking show for the school district's cable station. The show became one of the most popular shows in the station's history and helped me to win a Horatio Alger Scholarship.
In 1997, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in Radio-TV-FIlm with a double minor in History and Geography. Two years later I finally landed a career-job at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I started out in the Operations Department working my way up the ladder. Then a fantastic opportunity opened up when I moved into the Creative Services Department. I became a Commercial Producer. Wow. I love the job. Seven years ago, I moved away from the hurricane zone and now content at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ugh, this paragraph is starting to sound resume-ish. Sorry.
Ten(!) years ago, my life changed again. I get to be an uncle to the coolest nephew EVER! Now if I could only channel all that energy he has to my evil purposes. Wait. Did I type that for all to see? Oops.

Photography has always been fun for me. My parents encouraged me in camerawork. Both of them are great photographers as well! I remember my first full time camera - a Kodak DISC. That camera lasted a long time, maybe it is somewhere packed away in a closet somewhere. Once in a while someone would take a look at my pictures and say a kind word or two. Trust me, that can inspire someone to keep on going.
Blessed be the advent of digital cameras. I picked up my first digital camera while making my way from Houston to Galveston, Texas.  A small HP Photosmart  M425 that I used for the first time at the Dickens on the Strand festival in Galveston. Turns out, it was (and still is) a nice camera. Some of the pictures from Yosemite and California were taken with it.
A few years ago, I upgraded to a Kodak EasyShare Z915. Huge improvement and the color it captures is extraordinary. Pictures from the Chihuly Glass and Las Vegas came from that camera.
When available I have used other cameras including the Nikon my parents use.
I braved Best Buy on Thanksgiving Day 2014 and bought myself a Canon Rebel T5 with 2 lenses. Ooooohhh Happy Day! Such a nice camera. LOVE taking pictures!
As you can see, my focus is on the world around us. I love looking at the world as it is and trying to convey some of what I see. Maybe take a look at something most people might overlook.  I have not yet delved too much into people and portraits.
Below is something I might or might not have done while in Las Vegas in 2018. If you're Imperial, then this is not me.
